Business Support
Starting a new career can be overwhelming and frustrating, and because many health coaches are becoming entrepreneurs for the first time, we want to provide them with extra business support. Our monthly educational webinars and business Q&A will be led by the International Health Coach Association founder, Robin Shirley, and will feature guests including successful entrepreneurs in the health/wellness field. We will be answering our members questions and discussing important topics like:
- Can a health coach really support themselves financially with just the 6 month program?
- How you can improve your initial consultation and ask the right questions.
- Techniques for getting people to visit your website and your facebook page more often.
- Bookkeeping, banking, lawyers, insurance..behind the scenes with your new business.
- Setting up your own unique website with a program like wix, weebly or wordpress.
- Finding your unique voice and using it to stand out in the growing health coach field.

In the near future we plan to incorporate business education into our bi-annual conference. We also plan to begin offering more online and in-person business training workshops by the end of 2012.
