Sergei Boutenko is a 28 year old adventurer, author, videographer, and lover of life. He was officially diagnosed with type 1 juvenile diabetes and told that after a short honeymoon phase, his pancreas would no longer produce insulin. While he was advised to go on insulin immediately, he never took the advice. His mother had strong convictions that taking insulin was not the right way to go and began looking for alternative ways to cope with his condition. When Sergei started eating healthy food and exercising regularly, his symptoms disappeared and his blood sugar stabilized.

How Anthony Anderson became obsessed with green living and in particular permaculture is a strange one tale. It can be said to include dumpsters, David Rockefeller, green smoothies, mushrooms in the forest, treadmills, Peak oil and George W. Bush. Through his search to protect his family from an uncertain future and food supply, he has discovered that permaculture and specifically the power of humanity focused on positive co-creation can literally bring the paradise planet back to reality. His vision of urban and suburban areas covered in food forests is far more attainable than most realize.
