Here’s an easy and quick way to make some almond milk without any soaking or straining!
Lazy Man’s Almond Milk
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 cup good water
1 heaping tablespoon raw almond butter
Pinch of salt
Dash of vanilla extract (about 1/2 teaspoon)
3 drops liquid stevia or 1 heaping teaspoon raw honey
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together on high for 20 seconds. Keeps 1-2 days in the fridge. Shake or re-blend before using.
Chocolate milk variation:
In addition the ingredients above, add:
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon of cacao powder
1 heaping teaspoon raw honey
1 pinch sea salt
6 ice cubes to chill the milk if desired (or you can put it in the fridge)
Follow the same directions as above. Keeps 1-2 days in the fridge. Shake or re-blend before using.
Strawberry milk variation:
In addition to the almond milk ingredients, add:
An additional teaspoon of honey
4-5 frozen or fresh strawberries
Follow the same directions as above.
